Punk Couple, Bayswater, London, 10 July, 1986

While I was waiting for the cream of European royalty to arrive for Prince Phillippos’s christening at St. Sophia’s Cathedral, this quintessentially mid-80’s couple walked by. A large crowd of press photographers and onlookers were waiting as they just appeared then walked right in front of everyone– the look on the man on the left’s face is perfect. I think they enjoyed the attention, though from the looks on his face, maybe she enjoyed it more than him. They’d be in their late 50’s or early 60’s today. Where are they now?
