Collectors’ Prints

In recent years, there has been a lot of interest in collectible historic images, from both investors and fine art collectors. With new advances in digital technology and film scanning, this collection of royal photography and other subjects is being made available for the first time. Every image in the Collection has been individually scanned from the original camera negatives and transparencies (slides). These new high resolution scans have brought the images back to life in a way that just wasn’t possible when they were first made. Using digital technology, dust and scratches on the film have been removed, shadows have been opened up to reveal more details, the images have been sharpened, and all have been color corrected to be more lifelike and true to the original subject matter.

Prints come in six sizes, offset by white borders:

5x7-inch image size on 8x10 (20x25cm) paper, open edition

7x10-inch image size on 11x14 (28x36cm) paper, open edition

9x14-inch image size on 16x20 (40x50cm) paper, limited editions of 45

12x18-inch image size on 20x24 (50x60cm) paper, limited editions of 30

21x32-inch image size on 30x40 (76x102cm) paper, limited editions of 15

30x45-inch image size on 40x60 (102x152cm) paper, limited editions of 10

(these sizes are approximate and may vary slightly from image to image.)

8x10 and 11x14-inch prints are open-edition, meaning there’s no limit to the number of prints made. The larger 16x20 through 40x60-inch prints are custom printed on museum grade, heavyweight, 100% cotton, acid free Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper (one of the premium fine art papers in the world), using archival pigment inks rated to last well over one hundred years. They are truly beautiful prints and you’ll know you’re holding a quality fine art print as soon as you feel it in your hands.

Prices increase as the edition nears the end of its print run. Each limited edition print is signed by me and embossed with a special hand stamp, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate uses two matching, serialized, numbered holograms with one applied to the certificate and the other to the reverse side of the artwork, to reduce the risk of forgery and to protect your investment.

Each print is custom printed for you, so you can be assured of owning the highest quality print possible.

These fine art collectors’ prints will look best when framed. Although they will be shipped to you as loose prints, you will want to take them to a professional framer, or frame them yourself.
