Military Band, Guards Polo Club, Smith's Lawn, 20 July, 1986

I used to visit Smith’s Lawn often to see if any of the Royal Family would be there, but on this occasion, only Major Ron Ferguson (Sarah’s father… only three days before her big Royal Wedding) was there to referee the British Army vs the Indian Army in the Sudan Cup. This military band, their young faces a study of intense concentration, played before the match.
