Londoners Series: The Busker, 3 January, 1989

Busking usually involves a guy with a guitar, propped up against the wall, deep in the bowels of a tube station. Today, it might be someone with an electronic keyboard pumping out canned synth music. But this guy was playing a trumpet… a trumpet in a crowded tube station. And how could you avoid him, parked right at the bottom of the escalators? The look on the girls’ faces no doubt attests to his playing abilities.
